Why Your Vote Counts

Vote on Tuesday April 26th!

My family has deep roots in the Wakefield community. I was born and raised in Wakefield, and my husband Joe and I are raising our three children here. As a former teacher, I know the issues that our families, students, and teachers face, especially after the past two years.

One of the issues I am most passionate about is education for all students after Covid recovery; getting kids back onto previous benchmarks, and making strides to compete against neighboring communities while providing schools with enough support for the social and emotional health of students.

Our students deserve the best resources and need to stay current with technology to be prepared to enter college and beyond. A new high school is essential to this.

Safety in schools is also close to my heart.  I am committed to ensuring that policies and procedures are updated to reflect the best practices in today’s world.

If I am elected to the School Committee, I will be a dedicated member of the team, working to address the concerns of this community. I will attend meetings prepared, ask tough questions, and will not shy away from disagreement. I will engage with you to understand your point of view and represent you to the best of my ability. Please vote for me on Tuesday, April 26th. Thank you for your consideration and please feel free to reach out, I'd love to hear from you!
